If you are visiting Central Delhi you can cover Birla Mandir, Hanuman Mandir, and Palika Bazaar together. Birla Mandir is one of those places that I would normally recommend especially during Janmashtami early morning. It’s beautifully decorated for the various special occasion.
Birla Mandir (Birla Temple) also known as Lakshmi Narayan Mandir refers to different Hindu temples or Mandirs built by the Birla family, in different cities. All these temples are magnificently built, some of them in white marble or in sandstone.
Location: Mandir Marg, Near Gol market, New Delhi, 110001
This temple defines the beauty of the Indian culture and reflects the magnificent good vibes of being in one of the famous temples in Delhi.
The temples are generally located in a prominent location, carefully designed to accommodate a large number of visitors. The worship and discourses are well organized. The first one was built in 1939 in Delhi collectively by Ghanshyamdas Birla and his brothers, as well his father.
Birla Family has built various Temples in India and some of them in foreign also.
This landmark temple is on the to-do list of all the tourists who come to Delhi. Constructed by the well-known Birla family in the 60’s with most beautiful idols of Goddess Laxmi and Lord Narayan holds the emotions when as you enter the big hall.
If you have some free time and are getting bored in Delhi, I will strongly advise you to go and visit this temple and feel the beauty of the Indian culture.
